NY 1: Community Activists Rally Against Truck Traffic In Brooklyn

Outside P.S. 132 in Williamsburg, trucks constantly pass by along Metropolitan Avenue.

“I’m here for five minutes and I can’t tell you how many trucks I counted. And I smell the exhaust right now,” said Kellie Terry-Sepulveda, community activist.

On Thursday, a community organization called OUTRAGE released a study showing just how many trucks it counted over a three-month period on several major roadways, including McGuiness Boulevard, Metropolitan and Greenpoint Avenues. View article
